Our Web Design Process
Free Consultation
Our first step is to actively listen to your vision and business goals, in-person if at all possible. Once we know your goals, we’ll tailor a proposal like this one to help you achieve your goals within your budget.
Initial Design Meeting
Next, you’ll meet with one of our designers to review a preliminary mock-up of your new website. It’s a casual call where we can bounce ideas back and forth to make sure our design team is headed in the right direction.
Content Interview
Now that the designers are hard at work, you’ll meet with our amazing content writer. This is typically a 60 min phone conversation where you sit back and have a very organic chat about something you love – your company.
Compass Check
How you ever tried to review an entire website at once? It’s overwhelming! That’s why we’ve separated the design & content reviews. To accomplish this, our design team uses Latin a text filler – so your eyes only focus on the flow & feel of the design. Once the design portion of the site is approved, you’ll review the content in a separate document with all of the content broken down by page and section. We then combine the approved design with the approved content and PRESTO; you now have a website you love with grammatically correct, spell checked, intriguing content written exactly how you want it.
It’s typical for us, especially for larger projects, to also slip in another meeting or two during the design process.
Final Approval
Now that you’ve approved the design & content, we’ll combine them and send you a final site design. After you’ve had a few days to review the site, we’ll have our final design meeting, where we can discuss any possible changes you have before we set the new site LIVE!
